We can accommodate most of these situations either by
arranging for a home field for you or by setting up the schedule where all games
are played at other teams home fields.
We can accommodate any team that wants to play at this
level. Insurance, fields, uniforms and equipment are all available through
us.
Absolutely! Most of the teams participating in
this league will be doing so to fill the gaps in their existing tournament
schedule.
Absolutely no! If you are a team who wants to play
more baseball and have fields within 90 minutes of the Buffalo area, this is the
place!
Teams within a reasonable committing distance are
scheduled based on each teams availably and availability of a field. Any
day of the week agreeable to both teams in an option. Where commuting
distances become a bit further (1 hour +), games are scheduled as weekend
double-headers on a date agreeable to both teams.
That depends on how many dates your team provides us for
available home and away games. Our goal is to have a completely balanced
schedule home and away and a wide range of teams in the league to play.
However, if your schedule restricts us to a limited set of dates and fields,
filling the schedule will not be a problem - however how balanced we can make it
will depend on how many other teams line up with the dates/times you provided us
for your teams availability.
Yes. As long as you can support a 16 game schedule
with this league, the more games you can participate in outside of this league -
the better!
Individual players would need to attend a tryout for one
of the teams in the league. WNY Boys of Summer will be happy to pass your
name along but does no have teams specifically for players looking to play.
