Age as or May 1st.  NO EXCEPTIONS..

Catcher Speed Up Rule: Only with 2 outs; for the 10-12U teams that are batting the bench, you must use this option and replace your catcher with the player that made the last out that is on your bench. For teams using the regular line up option, you may must replace the catcher (runner) with a player not currently in your batting order.

Intentional Walks: you are not required to throw the 4 pitches.

Home team as indicated on the schedule only.  Doubleheaders: Home team is home game #1 and guests are the home team game #2.  Games are 7 innings each.

The mercy rule will be 10 runs after 5 innings of play.

No pitching restrictions.

7 inning games. A game is official after 4.5 innings if the home team leading or 5 innings if the visitor team is leading.

No time limits on games unless mandated by the home team facility to avoid scheduling conflicts (back to back games on the same field, field lights on timers
etc.).  Where time limits are mandated, it must be clearly covered in the ground rules prior to game start.

Injury re-entry:  In the event that a player becomes injured and no eligible substitutes remain on the bench, the opposing coach will select a player to re-enter the game from the group of ineligible substitutes.  In the event that no eligible players remain to enter the game and loss of a player is as a result of anything other than an injury (ejection for example) the game will be considered a forfeit.

In the event of a loss of player currently in the batting order for any reason other than injury and no available substitutions (for example when the team is batting the bench or when all available substitutes have been used), an out will be taken in that batting position (for example batting the bench and a player leaves or batting 10 using an EH and having a player ejected and no eligible substitutes remain on the bench).  If a team drops to less than 9 eligible players in the batting order, the game will be considered a forfeit.

Pitching visits:  One pitching visit per pitcher per inning.  A second visit in the same inning or a total of 4 to the same pitcher during the course of the game will disqualify that pitcher from pitching for the remainder of the game.

Standings will be determined as follows:  (1) Number of wins, (2) Number of Losses. (3) Number of ties.  Where two teams have identical records, head to head will be used.  Teams are expected to make up canceled or rained out games as these unplayed games will have significant impact on your final standings.

RAIN

Home team is responsible notifying the visiting team and umpires of any rainout.  The umpires require a 2 hour notice for rain outs. If the umpires show up; the home team is required to pay.  Communicate with the visiting team and give appropriate consideration for distances being traveled when making game time decisions.
